"With sixty employees at Lancashire brewery Thwaites facing the axe as the firm looks to relocate, workers appear to have hit back – by altering the neon ‘THWAITES’ sign on the town centre building to read ‘TWATS’.
The sign is mounted on a giant tower and is visible across Blackburn and much of East Lancashire.”

Demand Justice for Corey Stingley! Call In Day, All Day: 1-15-14

We demand the resignation of Milwaukee County District Attorney John Chisholm
On December 14th 2012, Corey Stingley, age 16 an honor student and athlete at Nathan Hale High School was with a friend and attempted to shoplift alcohol from a Milwaukee County gas station. After having it in their backpack, they went up to the cashier to make a small purchase. According to lamestream media, after he reached over the counter to grab his debit card, three adult white male costumers, age 55, 57, and 25 restrained Corey until the police arrived. His father Craig Stingley, who watched the security film from inside the store that day, “They put Corey in a choke hold headlock by one defendant, both legs held by a second defendant, and the left arm stood upon by a third defendant for approximately 20 minutes.” When officers arrived they handcuffed Corey briefly until they realized he wasn’t breathing. They then removed the cuffs and began CPR. Corey was hospitalized but never regained consciousness. He suffered severe brain damage from that December incident. He was eventually taken off of life support on December 29th.
Milwaukee County District Attorney John Chisholm announced late Friday that he finds the customers, “Had no intent to harm Corey, when they restrained him, nor was there sufficient evidence that any one of the three was aware that their actions created a substantial and unreasonable risk of great bodily harm.”
Mike Wilder, co-director of the African American Roundtable, in a statement released Tuesday said, “Like the murder of Trayvon Martin, this is the continuation of an unjust and shameful system of criminal injustice which regards black lives as more threatening and less valuable than white lives.”
His father Craig told us, “Three men took the law into their own hands, thinking they could restrain someone and they couldn’t even restrain themselves. Corey Stingley was not just simply restrained, but the life was literally choked from his body because of the actions of all three adult men. These three adult male customers took it upon themselves to become judge, jury and executioner” and calls it a “Modern day lynching.”
We are appalled that D.A. Chisholm decided not to charge these three men with any crime even though witnesses testified that they saw these men choke Corey Stingley to death.
